2Face, Blackface, MI, Others Thrill Crowd At Faze’s Legend Concert

Fans and supporters of Nigerian music legends from the good old days experienced a delightful Friday night as they were treated to live performances by these superstars once again in Lagos.

On December 1, 2023, Live and Wavy, Yaw Naija Entertainment, in conjunction with Independent Entertainment staged a Legend Concert with Faze and Friends at Freedom Park, Lagos State, Nigeria.

The captivating old-school vibes and dynamic performances by 2face, Blackface, Ruggedman, Tony Tetuila, MI Abaga, Duncan Mighty, Daddy Showkey, and the rest left music fans in attendance absolutely elated.

It was a show that brought the house down, leaving the audience on cloud nine and buzzing with joy.

Fans were buzzing with anticipation as 2face and Blackface graced the same stage, although not together.

In a recent episode of The Honest Bunch Podcast, Blackface mentioned being on good terms with Faze but pointed fingers at 2Baba for the lingering discord.

He, however, said he has forgiven 2Face for all he has done to him “knowingly and unknowingly”, pleading with the ‘African Queen’ crooner to also forgive him for whatever he has done to him.

Faze made a significant impact on the music scene with the release of his debut solo album, Faze Alone, in the last quarter of 2004.

Featuring hit songs such as Faze Alone, Angel Gabriella, Miss U, and Na True, the album quickly climbed to top spots on various music charts.

Known for his unique blend of R&B, Reggae, Pop, Dancehall, Raggae, and Soul, all infused with an African undertone, Faze’s distinctive musical style gained widespread recognition, with a sound called the “universal flavour.”
