Tech startup empowers varsity students

An EdTech firm, Hankali Intel, has a three-day Data Analytics Bootcamp for students of the Michael Okpara University of Agriculture, Umudike.

According to a statement, the boot camp equipped over 100 undergraduates with essential skills in data analytics and robotics.

It stated that the three-day training featured a diverse range of sessions, including Understanding the Modern Data Tech Stack Architecture, Business KPIs for MSMEs, Introduction to Power BI, Google Sheets, and Data Scraping.

The training included a practical session on Power BI, a project work, and a plenary session for data professionals.

The firm stated that one of the outcomes of the boot camp was the identification of four outstanding students whose projects using Power BI for the first time earned them scholarships to participate in the Hankali data senior training track.

“This intensive 3-month programme will not only enhance their data competencies but also provide access to mentors from different nations, guiding them as they transition into their new career paths,” the statement read partly.

Hankali’s Chief Executive Officer, Mgbame Michael and Chief Operating Officer, Chibuzor Okafor pledged the company’s dedication to building and training a community of data enthusiasts through customised data proficiency tracks, utilising an AI-trained chatbot in engagement sessions.
