UEFA Champions League Table After Match Week Four

Liverpool currently sit at the top of the Champions League table after an impressive performance in Match Week Four, where they secured a dominant 4-0 victory over Bayer Leverkusen on Tuesday night.

This emphatic win marks the Reds’ fourth consecutive Champions League win in the tournament, and they have yet to concede a single goal, highlighting their robust defensive strategy and attacking prowess.

During Liverpool’s Champions League Match week four, Borussia Leverkusen struggled to contain Liverpool’s relentless offensive, which has positioned the English club firmly as the only team in the competition to have achieved maximum points thus far.

As for Sporting Lisbon, the Portuguese side showcased their strength by thrashing Manchester City 4-1, climbing to second place in the standings. They are closely followed by Monaco, Brest, and Inter Milan, with all four clubs tied on 10 points.

On the other hand, Real Madrid faced a surprisingly disappointing 3-1 defeat at home against AC Milan, placing them in 18th position and raising questions about their form in the prestigious tournament. Meanwhile, Paris Saint-Germain find themselves even lower, in 25th place, after suffering a narrow last-minute loss to Atletico Madrid.

As the tournament progresses, each club will play a total of eight matches. After this phase, the top eight teams will advance directly to the knockout round, while those ranked between ninth and 24th will have to battle it out in the playoffs for a chance to join the elite in the last 16.
