The emir of Lafiya retired Justice Sidi Bagi Muhammed has turbaned Tijjani Aliyu Ahmed with the traditional title of Dan Amincin Lafiyar Bare- Bari.
The event took place at the Emir’s Palace on Sunday. The turbaning of Ahmed with the title was as a result of the development he brought to Lafia, Nasarawa State in particular and Nigeria in general.
He was the former secretary to the state government, commissioner for local government and chieftaincy affairs, as well as the education commissioner.
