West African Youth Congress Appoints Musa As Advisory Board Chairman 

The West African Youth Congress (WAYC) has appointed Dr. Emmanuel N. Musa, president of the EMNAMU Foundation as the new chairman of its Advisory Board.



According to a statement issued to newsmen in Kaduna on Saturday, his appointment followed a unanimous vote by delegates from 16 West African countries during the West Africa Youth and Stakeholders Engagement Summit held in December last year.

In recognition of his outstanding contributions to youth development, Dr Musa was also honoured with the Humanitarian Youth of the Year 2024 award.

The nomination letter was officially presented to him on Friday, February 28, 2025 by Comrade Mohammed Ahmed Marafa, the secretary general and other executives of the Council in his Abuja office for the award presentation ceremony.

President of the EMNAMU Foundation, Dr. Musa has spearheaded initiatives focused on education, vocational training, and youth advocacy, transforming the lives of young people across Nigeria and West Africa.

His leadership in the WAYC Advisory Board is expected to drive innovative solutions, enhance youth participation in policymaking, and strengthen developmental programmes for young people in the region.

The formal conferment ceremony for his appointment is scheduled for April 5, 2025, with international delegates from 16 West African countries set to attend.
