Abdulafeez, Moses clash for HBE title

Rilwan Abdulafeez will battle Samuel Moses for the Heritage Boxing Entertainment lightweight title in the main event of the ‘Rumble in the Hood’ fight night on Sunday, January 14 at the Igando Alimosho Field in Lagos State.

Abdulafeez comes into this fight with a record of four wins and one loss and will be confident of a win against Moses who has a record of four wins and seven losses and is currently on a three-fight losing streak suffering knockout blows in the last two.

In the other fights of the night, Hamed Qudus will take on Toheeb Adeniran in four rounds of a featherweight clash. Hamed who made his pro debut in October 2023 with an unanimous decision win over Azeez Yekeni will be eager to get a second victory in the pros.

In a bantamweight clash, Babatunde Oni and Taofeek Ganiyu will battle it out in the ring with both fighters who debuted in 2023 eager to add to their tally of one win and one knockout in the pros. Any loser on the night will have been handed his first career defeat.

There will be two middleweight bouts as Idris Hamza takes to the ring looking to get his first career win after suffering a loss to Adedayo Okenla in October 2023.

Okenla will face Buhari Habeeb in the second middleweight bout. The final two matches of the night sees Akintunde Abolade and Imole Oyelede take to the ring in a super-lightweight battle while Obizulike Elisha will horns with Emmanuel Francis in a lightweight fight.
