AbdulRazaq, Others Pay Last Respects To Wife Of Ex-CDS, Aminat Ibrahim

The fidau prayer for the repose of the soul of Hajia Aminat Modupe Ibrahim, the late wife of the former Chief of Defence Staff, Admiral Sa’ad Ibrahim was held simultaneously in three locations in Ilorin, Kwara State and the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.

The Abuja version of the prayer took place at the private residence of Admiral Ibrahim, while the Ilorin versions took place at the deceased’s family residence, Ori – Okoh and the family residence of Admiral Ibrahim at Fagba area .

The fidau prayer at Ori – Okoh was led by a former grand Khadi of Kwara State, Justice Solihu Mohammed and was attended by eminent personalities from far and near.

The trio of Alh Saadu Salahu ( senior adviser/ counselor), Alh Bashiru Adigun ( special adviser, Media) and Alh Ibrahim Danmaigoro ( senior special assistant, Religion -Islam) represented the Kwara State governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq at the prayer session in Ori – Okoh.

The governor, had in company of his special adviser ( Special Duties), Alh AbdulRazaq Jiddah, the chief press secretary, Rafiu Ajakaye, Alh Saadu Salahu and Alh Ibrahim Danmaigoro, paid a condolence visit to the Ori- Okoh family residence of the deceased.

The governor and his entourage were received by the immediate junior brother of the deceased, Alh Tunde Akanbi of the Voice of Nigeria and other family members.

Hajia Ibrahim died on Tuesday, November 5, 2024 in Abuja at the age of 69 and was buried the following day at Gudu cemetery in Abuja, in accordance with Islamic rites.
