Aberdeen, Helsinki Play 2-2 Draw In Thrilling Europa Conference League Match

 

 

Aberdeen FC and HJK Helsinki played to a 2-2 draw in their final away game of the Europa Conference League.

The match was an action-packed affair, with both teams fighting for a win despite being eliminated from the competition and just playing for pride.

Aberdeen started the match slowly and found themselves trailing 2-0 after half an hour.

However, they staged a remarkable comeback in the second half, with Angus MacDonald scoring a stunning goal from outside the penalty area and Duk netting a close-range header to level the tie.

Despite both teams having chances to win the game in the final minutes, the score remained 2-2.

The result leaves Aberdeen in third place in Group G, ahead of their final home game against Eintracht Frankfurt in two weeks time.
