Adron Homes boss advises on national development

The Chief Executive Officer of Adron Homes, Adetola Emmanuel King, has said winning the war against cultism requires a revisit on family values, saying parents must go back to the age and time of instilling sound upbringing into their children.

He said this was essential to raising youth that will enhance national development.

According to the Adron Homes boss, it is unfortunate that parents are currently failing in the responsibility to bring up their children with cherished values of being careful of indulging in any behaviour that can tarnish the image of their family.

He noted that the growing rate of corruption in the country was not helping the matter.

The property merchant and national president of Remo Secondary School Old Students Association Sagamu, spoke to our correspondent at the 78th Founders Day of the school recently.

Adetola said, “I must say that everyone is concerned about this menace of cultism, and largely the breakdown of our highly cherished family values contribute about 80 per cent o this problem.

“In those days because of the way we were being brought up, you don’t want to do anything that will tarnish your image or that of the family and you won’t see our parents setting bad examples either, they are always very careful too not to portray their family in bad light, but sadly things are changing now or what do you say when the parents themselves are cultists?”
