AFCON Qualifier: Osimhen, Lookman lead Super Eagles against Benin



The Super Eagles of Nigeria have revealed their starting lineup for the crucial Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Benin on Thursday.

The match is set to hold in Stade Felix Houphouet-Boigny, Abidjan by 8pm Nigerian time.

Goalkeeper Nwabali will take charge between the posts, providing a reliable presence at the back.

In defence, Osho, captain Ekong, Bassey, and Aina make up a solid backline aiming to shut out the Beninese attack.


Midfield maestro Ndidi will be joined by Iwobi, adding both defensive stability and creativity to the centre.

Onyemaechi will bring further depth to the midfield, complementing the attacking prowess of Lookman, Iheanacho, and star forward Osimhen.

Super Eagles are seeking a strong performance to secure Nigeria’s spot in the upcoming AFCON tournament in Morocco.
