The Association of Nigerian University Professional Administrators (ANUPA) is set to organise a training workshop for senior university professional administrators.
The event, themed “Transforming University Administration: Embracing Innovation, Collaboration, and Leadership in a Digital Era,” will start from Wednesday, 28th May.
The workshop will feature a series of insightful sessions designed to equip university administrators with relevant skills for the evolving demands of the digital age.
Among the key presentations is “Enhancing Leadership Skills for University Professional Administrators in a Dynamic Environment” by Dr Bala Ahmed II, Registrar of Nasarawa State University, Keffi, and chairman of ARNU.
Mr Samson Durojaye, acting director of ICT at the Federal University, Oye-Ekiti, will deliver another presentation titled “Harnessing Digital Tools for Excellent Performance in the Digital Age: The Role of the University Professional Administrator.”
Further deepening the discourse, Dr Godwin Onyemaechi Nnadi, Senior Deputy Registrar in charge of Student Records at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, will speak on “Collaboration and Cross-functional Teamwork as Tools for Optimal Performance: The Task Ahead of University Professional Administrators.”
Also featured is a session on “The Quest of the University Professional Administrator for Acquisition of Data-Driven Skills for Optimal Job Delivery,” to be led by Mr Oyedipe Adefemi, Special Assistant to the Vice-Chancellor at the National Open University of Nigeria, Abuja.
Rounding off the lineup is Mr Babangida Bala Jatau, head of registrar’s office, Management and Council Affairs at Abdulkadir Kure University, Minna (AKUM), who will present on “The Place of University Professional Administrators as Change Agents in Building a Culture of Innovation in the University of the Future.”
