APC Leader Urges More Women In Yobe Politics

Yobe South APC Zonal Women Leader Hajiya Fatima Umar has urged women and youth to actively participate in politics and contribute positively to the progress of the state.



She spoke with LEADERSHIP Friday in Damagum Fune local government shortly after a stakeholders town hall meeting of the APC women.

She however stated that the women in the state have pledged to support the state governor, Mai Mala Buni.

She said the governor has shown inclusive party leadership in the state “which has brought Yobe APC back as the people’s party, given that under your watch women and youths now have the voice and platform to shine, while all the leaders and elders of the party are also adequately accommodated and given their pride of place”.

She added that they are satisfied with the governor’s dexterity in handling his affairs.
