Artistes Are Ignoring Me Now, Terry G Laments

Nigerian artiste Gabriel Amanyi, famously known as Terry G, has expressed disappointment in his music industry peers for neglecting him.

In a video shared on his verified Instagram account, Terry G mentioned that during his prime in the music industry, other artists sought him out, and he provided them with hit songs.

Speaking in pidgin, he voiced his grievances, saying, “But this isn’t fair. You write to your fellow artists, they don’t respond. Remember when it was my time, all of you came to me, and I gave you guys hits. Now I reach out, and you don’t respond. Is it that until I pass away, you’ll remember me?”

“This is how Nigerian music operates, consider it now. Ultimately, we are all contributing to the global music library of sounds. In case I make a comeback, thank you for waiting,” Terry G added.

Additionally, Terry G took to his Instagram story to address someone who had edited his Wikipedia page, falsely stating that he died on December 14, 2023.

“I am very much alive. Whoever is spreading this misinformation should stop. A week ago, someone altered Wikipedia claiming I was dead,” he wrote while sharing a screenshot.
