Auto Crash Claims 7 Lives In Niger

Seven people have been confirmed dead in a fatal auto crash in Panti along Bida-Mokwa Road in Lavun local government area of Niger State



LEADERSHIP gathered that the accident, which occurred Tuesday night, involved a truck heading to Abuja from Lagos State and a Toyota Corolla car coming from nearby Batati to Kutigi, headquarters of Lavun LGA of the State.

It was learnt that the Toyota Corolla car with nine occupants collided with the truck, killing its five female and two male occupants.

 

When contacted, the Niger State Sector Commander, Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Kumar Tsukwam, confirmed the accident to LEADERSHIP, saying that the bodies of the dead victims have been deposited at Kutigi General Hospital.
