Black Galaxies head coach, Mas-Ud Dramani, says the team is focused on preparing for the return leg of the 2024 African Nations Championship qualifiers against Nigeria.

His remarks follow after being held to a goalless draw in the first leg at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday.

The winner of the tie qualifies to compete at next year’s CHAN which will be held in Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania.

Speaking after the game, Dramani said they would prepare well for the return leg encounter.

“When we don’t qualify, it is still positive. What is positive about this is that these boys have been exposed to a certain level of our Ghanaian league and this is the page that we want to print out that we are expressing our domestic competition structure to the rest of Africa and the world,” the former Black Stars assistant coach said.

“We are not even thinking about it, we are just thinking about how to prepare and get to Nigeria and get to the pitch and play,” he added.

Ghana is aiming to qualify ahead of Nigeria for the second consecutive time.
