BPE wins SERVICOM awards



The Bureau of Public Enterprises has won Service Compact honours for its service delivery, emerging as one of the country’s best-performing agency in customer service.

According to a statement, SERVICOM awarded the BPE Director-General, Ayodeji Gbeleyi, as one of the best Chief Executive Officers supporting SERVICOM initiatives in 2024 at the SERVICOM end-of-year awards ceremony held recently in Abuja.

Additionally, BPE’s Nodal Officer, Ibeh Uzoma, won an award as the second-best performing Nodal Officer award in Team A SERVICOM.

The BPE added it received an award for consistent excellence and commitment to delivering customer service, noting “The awards to BPE are in recognition of the bureau’s brilliant, cum sustained drive and dedication in providing top-notch excellent customer service delivery in the country.”


SERVICOM lauded the bureau’s sustained efforts in raising the bar for public service efficiency and satisfaction.

Uzoma presented the awards to the Director-General, Ayodeji Gbeleyi, at BPE headquarters.

Gbeleyi expressed gratitude to SERVICOM for the recognition, describing it as a testament to the hard work and dedication of the Bureau’s team.

“I congratulate the SERVICOM team of BPE for this remarkable achievement and urge them to maintain this high standard of excellence,” he stressed.

SERVICOM, a public service reform initiative under the Presidency, aims to ensure efficient service delivery across government institutions.
