CCB Unveils Cooperative For Staff Welfare

The Code of Conduct Bureau (CCB) has launched an initiative, the Code of Conduct Integrity Multipurpose Cooperative Society, to address its members’ socioeconomic and welfare needs.

The unveiling ceremony, held on Monday in Abuja, was presided over by the interim President of the Cooperative, Auwalu Isah, who emphasised its core mission. “The principal objective of this initiative is to serve our members’ socio-economic and welfare needs,” he said.

In a statement issued on Tuesday by KATO, the Head of Press and Protocol, Veronica, it was highlighted that the Cooperative would operate on principles of transparency, accountability, equity, and fairness.

Speaking at the event, Mr Isah outlined plans to ensure the financial empowerment of members and the substantial growth of the Cooperative’s capital base.

Board member Barr. Murtala Aliyu Kankia commended the initiative and urged the interim executives to discharge their responsibilities diligently, noting the importance of maintaining the trust vested in them.

During an interactive session with the executive committee, CCB Chairman Dr. Abdullahi Bello Usman, FCCA, expressed his appreciation for the initiative, describing it as a significant step toward improving staff welfare. He pledged his support for the Cooperative’s activities.
