About two thousand people benefited from the Ambassador Yusuf Tugga Foundation‘s distribution of foodstuffs to the Christian faithful in nine Local Government Areas of Bauchi state, which put a smile on many homes during this year‘s Christmas ceremony.

The foundation‘s annual event is to distribute relief materials to Christian and Muslim faithful during yearly festivities such as Christmas, Eid-fitr, or Eid-Kabir.

Speaking during the flag distribution on Sunday, the Secretary General of Tuggar Foundation, Ahmad Mohammed Dan Masanin Tilde, oversaw the foundation‘s activities, which included rice, spaghetti, and macaroni for the beneficiaries.

He added that despite Alhaji Bello Tukur‘s recent demise, the foundation still found it necessary to conduct the annual exercise.

Mr Ahmad outlined the items distributed, which included rice in over 300 25 kg bags, spaghetti in over 350 cartons, and macaroni in over 350 cartons, among other food items, in addition to token cash to the beneficiaries in nine local government areas of the state.

A beneficiary, Simon Okpanachi from Bauchi LGA, who spoke on behalf of the beneficiaries, expressed gratitude to the minister. They were glad about the gesture, saying it was not the first time Ambassador Tuggar had extended it to them.
