CIG Group appoints new marketing director



CIG Group has appointed Adeleye Fabusoro as its new Group Marketing and Corporate Communications Director.

According to a statement, in this role, Fabusoro will oversee marketing, public relations, and corporate communication strategies across the company’s diverse portfolio, including GAC Motors, Lagride, Wuling, Lontor, and Gree.

Fabusoro brings a wealth of experience, having held key positions in media, marketing, and corporate strategy. Before joining CIG Group, he served as Head of West Africa for CNBC and Forbes Africa, where he played a crucial role in expanding the brand’s influence across the region.

His tenure as Head of Development and Production for Dentsu Storylab further solidified his expertise in strategic marketing and business development.


Beyond the private sector, Fabusoro has made a significant impact as a United Nations consultant, working across 18 African nations on innovative and sustainable growth initiatives.

Academically accomplished, he holds a doctorate in Fine Arts from Prowess University, a postgraduate diploma in Data Science and Business Analytics from the University of Texas at Austin, an MBA from Obafemi Awolowo University, and a BA (Hons) from the University of Ibadan.

CIG Group, a conglomerate with a dynamic business portfolio, expressed confidence in Fabusoro’s leadership.
