A singer, Inegbenekalo Godstime, aka DJGame, is set to release an extended play album titled, ‘Grateful’.
In a statement sent to Saturday Beats, he stated that the EP was inspired by his ardent love for music and the influence of his manager, Sir Tido.
He said, “My forthcoming EP, which is my debut, will be released this month, and it was inspired by my love for music.
“Recently, I met my manager, Sir Tido, in Nigeria through a friend. We share ideas and with his experience in the music industry, we were able to come up with the EP.
“It features some fast-rising talents, such as Moderate, Topskido, Talisman, Dollar Chris and Sir Tido.”
The singer, who recently unveiled a record label— House of Cubana Entertainment— noted that it was aimed at discovering and promoting underprivileged talents across Nigeria.
“There are so many talents in Nigeria. I want to be a bridge for these artists, to help them reach heights they never thought possible,” he said.
The United States of America-based entertainer, who is also a DJ, maintained that music had always been a part of him. He said, “Growing up, my father could never go a day without playing music, and that rubbed off on me.
“I have gone through thick and thin. However, it’s not how far but how well. I have always loved disc jockeying and music right from when I was growing up in the ghetto.”
