Dogara Attacked Gov Mohammed To Get Tinubu’s Attention – Bauchi Group

A political group in Bauchi State, Bogoro/Tafawa Balewa Youths Vanguard, has accused former Speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara, of seeking political relevance by attacking Bauchi State Governor Bala Mohammed.

The group claimed that Dogara had lost dignity and respect because of his controversial decisions.

The group stated this in response to Dogara’s recent comment that without the FCT minister, Nyesom Wike, support, Governor Mohammed wouldn’t have gotten the party’s ticket in 2018.

Recall that Wike and Mohammed, who is chairman of PDP Governors Forum, have been locked in a verbal exchange over the state of PDP in Rivers State.

However, chairman of the political group, Comrade Habila Daniel,

accused Dogara of desperately seeking relevance and recognition from President Bola Tinubu, adding

“He wants to reach President Tinubu through using the channel of Nyesom Wike.”

Daniel said the attack by the former Speaker was unnecessary and uncalled for because, according to him, “Dogara has lost his grip of political conscience and relevance.”

He said over the years, Dogara has  been fighting Bauchi governor, adding that Governor Mohammed executed numerous projects for Sayawa people far beyond what Dogara did.

He said,”Such actions are unbecoming of a leader, particularly someone who holds the kind of responsibility that Dogara once did as Speaker of the House of Representatives.”
