Dominion varsity enrols 227 students



A total of 227 students have been admitted for the 2024/2025 academic session of the Dominion University, Ibadan.

Vice-Chancellor, of DU, Prof Abel Olorunnisola disclosed this during the matriculation ceremony of the institution.

The students were admitted for 15 academic programmes in the Faculty of Arts, Social Sciences and Management Sciences; Computing and Applied Sciences; and Allied Health Sciences.

For the first time, he said 62 students were admitted into the Faculty of Allied Health Sciences.

He charged the new students with being responsible for their conduct throughout their stay in the institution.

The university’s Chancellor, Taiwo Adelakun, enjoined the new students to aim for the top in their academic pursuits at the university.

He also urged them to be focused, get their priorities right and shun acts capable of distracting them from their studies.
