Industry leaders, policymakers, and investors will gather at the Omniverse Africa Summit from February 25-28, 2025, at the Landmark Event Centre, Lagos, to discuss strategies for advancing Africa’s digital economy.
This is according to a statement made available on Wednesday.
Organised in partnership with the GIZ/Digital Transformation Center Nigeria and the Innovation Support Network, the summit will welcome over 20,000 attendees from more than 20 countries.
Discussions will focus on innovation, digital transformation, and investment opportunities across the continent.
Key partners supporting the event include the European Union, the National Information Technology Development Agency, the Federal Ministry for Art, Culture, Tourism and Creative Economy, and the Centre for Black and African Arts and Civilization.
The summit aims to foster collaboration between governments, businesses, and technology innovators to drive sustainable economic growth in Africa’s digital sector.
The Co-Convener of the Omniverse Africa Summit, Charles Emembolu, stated, “The Omniverse Africa Summit represents a pivotal moment for Africa’s digital and creative industries. This is where innovators, policymakers, and investors converge to unlock the true potential of Africa’s technology landscape.”
