A multi-asset investment management firm, CardinalStone, provided an Information Communication Technology centre for Aje Comprehensive Senior School and conducted facility rehabilitation at Modupe Cole Memorial School in Yaba, Lagos.
A statement by the firm said the gesture was in celebration of the 15th year anniversary of CardinalStone.
Group Managing Director, CardinalStone, Michael Nzewi, expressed his enthusiasm for the Giving Back Initiative, stating that, “As part of our 15-year anniversary celebration, we are honoured to partner with Lagos State in supporting local schools in Lagos. Education is a cornerstone of our Corporate Social Responsibility, and we choose to collaborate with Aje Comprehensive Senior High School and Modupe Cole Memorial School in Yaba. We provided Aje Comprehensive Senior High School with a world-class ICT lab, recognising the vital role of technology in today’s world. This marks the beginning of a lifelong relationship, and we look forward to continuing our support.
He added, “CardinalStone is excited and proud to be part of this journey to a future that is digital, inclusive, and bright.”
In addition, The Commissioner for Basic Education in Lagos, Mr Jamiu Alli-Balogun, expressed his appreciation, saying, “We extend our commendations to CardinalStone for their unwavering support of education within Lagos State. We are committed to overseeing and maintaining this valuable educational initiative.”
In response to CardinalStone’s philanthropic efforts, the principal of Aje Comprehensive Senior High School, Mr Sanni Layemo, said, “We can’t put into words how grateful we are to CardinalStone for their generous contribution to our school. The ICT lab will transform the way our students learn and prepare them for the real world.”
