Gbadegesin quits Guinness Nigeria board

GUINNESS Nigeria has announced the resignation of Mrs Tariye Gbadegesin from its board.

According to a statement signed by the Legal Director/Company Secretary of Guinness Nigeria, Mrs Abidemi Ademola, the resignation takes effect from February 24, 2024.

It stated that Gbadegesin’s resignation aligned with the terms of her recent appointment as the Chief Executive Officer of the Climate Investment Funds.

Gbadegesin, a seasoned professional with over 20 years of experience in finance, principal investments, and infrastructure, was appointed to the Board of Guinness Nigeria on July 27, 2022.

Until her resignation, she served as a member of the Statutory Audit Committee of the brewer.
