Glo introduces airtime bonus in cashless recharge drive

Telecommunications company Globacom has introduced a new airtime bonus offer to encourage the adoption of digital recharge services among its prepaid customers.

The company, in a statement on Monday, said the promotion, which began on February 13, offers bonus airtime to segmented prepaid customers who recharge their lines through e-top-up platforms.

Globacom said the airtime bonus offer was introduced as part of its commitment to delivering exceptional value to customers, helping them maximise their mobile experience.

“In line with our commitment to delivering exceptional value to customers, we have introduced this bonus airtime promotion to help our customers get the most out of their mobile experience. Whether the airtime is used for calls, data, or messaging, this extra boost ensures that customers stay connected with their loved ones and colleagues without interruption,” the company said.

It added that the initiative was designed to give customers more value for money and enhance their calling experience on the Glo network.

Globacom explained that eligible customers who recharge N200 or more via E-top up would receive the bonus, which can be used to make calls to any network.

It stated that the bonus airtime is valid for seven days and cannot be rolled over, adding that any unused airtime within the validity period would expire.

The telecom provider described the e-top-up platform as a seamless and convenient way for customers to recharge airtime from the comfort of their homes or on the go.

It said customers could access the service through Glo digital channels, including its mobile app, website, or USSD codes, to top up and instantly receive the airtime bonus.
