Gombe Inter Schools Games: GDSS Bolari Hail Gara Gombe, Set To Reward Medalists

Government Day Secondary School (GDSS) Bolari East, Army Barracks, Gombe has organized a grand reception in honor of their athletes who participated at the just concluded Gombe State Inter Secondary Schools Athletics and Principals’ Cup Football Competition.



The well attended ceremony which took place on Monday February 3, 2025, at the assembly ground had in attendance the Principal, Vice Principals (Admin and Academics), Chairman, Parents Teachers Association (PTA) senior master and mistress and other staff members.

The Principal, Mr, Habibullah Salihu, congratulated the medalists for their exceptional performances.

“Let me use this medium to congratulate our medalists who have shown their exceptional talents and won so many medals, this has not just developed you but has also promoted the school, kudos to your performance.

“We are going to organize a grand reception for the medalists in the coming week to celebrate them more as our school ambassadors.”

He applauded the sole sponsor and organiser of the championships, Hon Ahmed Shuaibu-Gara Gombe, as well the efforts of the school games masters and other officials who worked to ensure the success of the athletes.

Related News

Medals and certificates won by the athletes were symbolically presented to them by  members of staff.

GDSS Bolari East emerged 3rd overall best school in athletics and produced the best female athlete in the competition.
