The GTWorld mobile app has been honoured with the iF Design Award 2024, acknowledging its design and functionality.
This marks the app’s second recognition, following the first Red Dot Design Award obtained earlier in 2023.
According to GTBank in a statement, the award is a testament to the app’s ability to meet the needs and expectations of its users.
It said the application boasts a sleek user interface, faster payments, and advanced security features.
GTBank collaborated with Alty, an IT product software company, to introduce a redesign of the mobile app GTWorld.
The technology company noted that this step was taken to establish the bank’s commitment to providing its customers with an improved and seamless mobile banking experience.
The firm assured that GTWorld clients can expect even more groundbreaking and innovative functions to be introduced in 2024.
The Chief Executive Officer of Alty, Artem Loktionov, said working closely with such an innovative and forward-thinking institution as GTBank had been an incredible journey for Alty, which had led to remarkable results.

According to the IT firm, the journey to revamp the app for GTBank commenced in early 2022 with a thorough technical and design assessment.
Alty added that by July 2023, the entire user base of 30 million individuals had gained entry to the digital platform – GTWorld.
