‘He Sent Killers My Way’ – Speed Darlington Survives Gunshot Attack In Lagos

Controversial Nigerian singer, Speed Darlington, has survived a gunshot attack while leaving a club in Lagos.

Naija News reports that Akpi, as he is fondly called, made this known in a post via his Instagram page on Monday.

Darlington claimed that a certain individual sent killers to him because there must be truth in what he has been saying.

The singer shared a video of his driver attesting to the gunshot and the policemen who witnessed the incident.

He captioned the video, “Long face send killers my way and I haven’t even post anything. Broooooo!! Is this necessary? You try to take my life 🙈 really?”

Meanwhile, Speed Darlington has demanded ₦300 million in compensation from the Nigerian police for violating his human rights.

Naija News reports that Akpi, as he is fondly called, made this known in a post via his Instagram page on Thursday while appreciating one of his lawyers, David Ihuoma, who serves under another of his attorney, Stan Alieke.

He claimed that the lawyer’s confidence was 10/10, stressing that he strongly condemned the police over the continuous detention owing to suspected influence from higher powers involved in his case.

According to Speed Darlington, David played a major role in his case, and the police attested to his confidence in speaking against corruption.
