Inspector-general of police, IGP Kayode Egbetokun, says justice would be done to the killing of inspector Jacob Daniel by the military in Adamawa state.
Egbetokun, while addressing officers and men of the command in Yola Tuesday, said the highest authority in the land is investigating the matter.
He said,” I want to assure you that, the report of the killing of inspector Jacob Daniel, has been escalated to the highest authority in the land.
“I am sure there will be justice at the end of it.”
The IGP, pointed out that the police officer was killed in a barbaric and in an unwarranted attack.
“Inspector Daniel was killed in a manner representing activities of terrorist inversion on facilities.
“I am in your midst to share my grief with you,” he said.
The IGP asked the police command to key into his policing vision, where a formidable police would be in place to protect loves and property of Nigerian
“I am here to share my policing vision and to ask you to key into it. With your support, we would have the police force of our dream in Nigeria”, the IGP added.
