Jemiriye Out With New Sensational Visual ‘TULE’

The vocal powerhouse, JEMIRIYE is out with a new single and video titled ‘TULE’. The groovy song, which is interspersed and laced with afro rhythms, is a love song that followers of good music will be enamoured because of the singer’s vocal depth.

The 3.15 minutes danceable visual of TULE was directed by a prolific video director, Kadia Ouabi who leveraged on Jemiriye’s passionate musical appeal and vocal prowess.

Speaking on creative process behind ‘TULE’, Jemiriye Adeniji (her real name) who got married in May 2023 to her heathrob, Maxime said, TULE a love song “was created to help lovers express their true feelings without feeling shy or with constraints. Tule is a Yoruba word that means “expose it,” “free me,” or “release it.” … as a slang, it means “Get loose.

“When I was working on Tule, my intention was to help lovers express their unconditional love for each other without any fear or restraint because LOVE is the most beautiful thing. I was also inspired by Davido when he used the slang “Tule joor” in 2021. The word just kept ringing a bell in my head. So, let’s Tule for our loved ones.”

Recorded, arranged, mixed, and mastered in Paris, the beat was created in Nigeria by Smilezonthebeat. The audio and video get officially released on all media platforms and available worldwide from Friday, Dec 1st.

On her plans for the rest of 2023 and beyond, the vivacious sultry singer says, “I have a couple of performances, appearances, and promotions for the rest of the year.

2023 has been a year of growth for me. I took a very long break to take care of myself, I took some needed rest, I read more books, I also ate a lot, lol… I traveled a lot this year, I met so many wonderful people, and I look forward to a great 2024.”

Having released :Tambele’ mid 2023, Jemiriye is now ready for more body of work leading to her debut album or an E.P perhaps as she tells her fans to watch her space.

Jemiriye’s vocal talent got global recognition when she made her mark, coming Top 10 at the Nigerian Idols 2012 contest. As a budding singer with a self confidence beyond her age, she wowed the judges including Yinka Davies and others.

She had released ‘Salami Iye’, an inspirational song inspired during the COVID-19 pandemic, as a prayer to God to heal the world. Others are ‘My Body’ and LAGOS dedicated to the hustle and bustle city of Lagos she experienced during her formative days as a young lady and upcoming musician.
