The Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) Professional Practice Group (PPG) is working with SIAO to enhance intellectual discussions and activities for 2025, especially, dealing with conversations on global economic trends and their impact on Nigeria and the PPG’s members.
The partnership would also focus on accountability and financial discipline at the corporate level, where many of the PPG members operate.
The partnership deal came up when the chairman of the group and national chairman of the Nigerian Institution of Petroleum Engineers, Prisca Kanebi paid a courtesy visit to SIAO to explore opportunities for deeper cooperation and mutual understanding.
Kanebi highlighted that SIAO, which recently celebrated its 20th anniversary, is one of Nigeria’s largest indigenous professional services firms, with numerous representative offices across Africa. She also emphasised SIAO’s active role as a member of the Chamber.
During the visit, the managing partner of SIAO, Abiodun Ariyibi, warmly welcomed the PPG delegates, offering a platform to discuss future initiatives and collaborations. Kanebi shared that one of the key topics was the upcoming PPG Networking Dinner, scheduled for May 29, 2025, and the potential involvement of SIAO in the 2025 Workshops and Symposium.
Ariyibi expressed his enthusiasm for the partnership and reassured the PPG of SIAO’s commitment to actively engage and support PPG events, offering both collaboration and sponsorship where possible.
Kanebi described the visit as a resounding success, with productive discussions on global economic trends and their impact on Nigeria and the PPG’s members.
She said, solutions were also proposed, particularly focusing on accountability and financial discipline at the corporate level, where many of the PPG members operate.
