Manufacturing firm advocates local content construction industry

Manufacturers of porcelain tiles, CDK Integrated Industries, has advocated increased use of local content in the construction industry.

According to a statement, the call was made during a recent courtesy visit to the new national president of the Nigerian Institute of Architects.

The meeting, which was held at the office of the NIA President, Mobolaji Adeniyi, focused on key themes such as improving partnerships between manufacturers and the architecture industry and promoting local content.

The Managing Director of CDK, Bernard Longe, congratulated Adeniyi on her recent inauguration as the 30th and 2nd female president of the institute.

Longe also affirmed that the firm would continue to foster active collaborations with the NIA.

Longe said, “We are eager to embark on collaborative ventures with the Nigerian Institute of Architects to drive innovation and excellence in our industry.”

On her part, Adeniyi stated that the institute was proud of CDK and its commitment to quality and excellence.

“As a known local content creator, CDK Industries makes ‘MADE IN NIGERIA’ a quality to be proud of, with its insistence on quality and consistency. A relationship and partnership with CDK is one that we long to extend.”

“We see CDK as our partners and look forward to collaborating with them in the future,” she said.
