Muyideen Bello’s Demise Huge Loss To Muslim Community – Adeleke

Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun State has described the death of a popular Islamic preacher, Sheikh Muyideen Bello as a huge loss to the Muslim community.

A statement by the spokesperson to the governor, Mallam Olawale Rasheed stated that Adeleke recalled the huge contributions of the late Sheikh to the development of Islam across Nigeria.

While sending the condolences of the people and government of Osun to Governor Seyi Makinde and the Muslim ummah of Oyo State and Nigeria as a whole, Adeleke maintained that the Kano based cleric was renowned for his fearless speaking of truth to power and his unbending upholding of traditional teachings of Islam.

“For several decades, the late Sheikh Bello was a popular voice in the propagation of Islam. Several generations of Muslims grew up to know the sonorous voice echoing ageless truth about humanity, creation and religion.

“He was a fearless man of Allah, a messenger of Islamic truths, a widely traveled agent of God and a preacher with strong national and international networks. Sheikh Bello is a man of many towns and cities, a man whose legacy transcends the shore of Nigeria.
