My music will give hope to the hopeless — Meme Rise

A gospel artiste, Meme Umukoro, aka Meme Rise, has expressed confidence that her music will give hope to the hopeless.

The singer, who is signed to SG Musik, told Saturday Beats, “I see my music making great impact, because the hand of the Lord is upon it. Anybody who listens to my music will feel God’s presence .When we pray and meditate, God impresses things on our spirit. By God’s grace, my music will get to every nook and cranny of the world. My music will wake up those sleeping spiritually.”

On how she feels being signed to SG Musik, Meme Rise said, “This is amazing, and it is the handiwork of the Lord. It is beyond my dreams, and I am so excited. Many times, when one works according to the will of God, one won’t know how God will do it, but just expect a transformation.”

Another gospel artiste, Eben, also expressed enthusiasm at collaborating with Rise on the song, ‘Wonderful Wonders’. He said, “The signing of Meme is a new phase of the beautiful experience of God in this generation. I decided to work with her, following her record as a Christian, who has passed through the process of service to God in her local church choir. It was pretty easy working with her. She was really cooperative. She came down to Lagos and she made all the sessions. I was really touched by her commitment.”
