Nollywood actor, Odunlade Adekola, has responded to controversial Nigerian singer, Habeeb Okikiola, better known as Portable, after confronting him over a remark about him.
Naija News reports that Portable’s 4th babymama cum Nollywood actress, Ashabi Simple, was captured in a viral video online hugging Odunlade at a movie set.
In the video, Odunlade said, “Hope you told Portable you want to hold me? Tell him you want to hold me.”
Displeased with the remark, Portable headed to the actor’s DM and quizzed him over the statement, stressing that he does not joke with his family and personal life.
He said, “Wetin you talk inside that video with Ashabi simple pls I respect my home I no dey use am do movie why you go talk say shay she tell me before coming joh shay una no dey collect money for her hand ni. I respect that’s why I come your Dm. I no dey use my home play. Why you go talk like that. Na today I dey see una.”
Reacting, Odunlade Adekola apologized for the miscommunication, stating he never meant to disrespect the singer or his home.
He wrote, “My brother good evening. I am just seeing this now. I love you and I think you know that. I can never disrespect your home or disrespect you. Your family is my family.”
Portable appreciated his response and prayed for him, saying, “I respect you, boss. I really appreciate you. God bless you”.
