The Nigerian Association of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines, and Agriculture has charged Nigerians to remain resilient and committed to making positive changes in the country.
In a statement on Sunday, the National President of NACCIMA, Dele Oye, urged citizens to continue to have faith in the country despite the myriad of socio-economic challenges.
“As we usher in the new year 2024, I bring you a message of hope and optimism.”
Oye advised Nigerians to be faithful in the country despite the economic challenges.
“I am confident that we can all work together towards a brighter future for our businesses, our communities, and our entire nation,” Oye said.
The NACCIMA president advised Nigerians to focus on developing the key sectors of the economy, including agriculture, mining, and industry.
“Through diversification, innovation, and collaboration, we can build a stronger and more resilient economy that benefits all Nigerians,” he advised.
He said, “I urge every one of us to remain committed to making positive changes in our country. Together, we can achieve great things and make 2024 a year of progress, prosperity, and peace.”
NACCIMA is the umbrella body for all the various affiliate chamber members within the country. Membership is voluntary and it encompasses city, state and bilateral chambers, business/professional associations and corporate bodies.
President Tinubu in his new year message on January 1, had assured Nigerians and investors that he fight every obstacle that impedes business competitiveness in Nigeria in 2024.
He said, ‘’ I will not hesitate to remove any clog hindering our path to making Nigeria a destination of choice for local and foreign investments.’’
