NPFL: Finidi demands fair officiating for Lobi clash

Enyimba technical adviser Finidi George said he expects fair officiating in their Nigeria Premier Football League clash against Lobi Stars, PUNCH Sports Extra reports.

Lobi Stars will host the People’s Elephant in a matchday 29 fixture at the Lafia City Stadium on Sunday.

Finidi expressed his team’s desire to secure a good result in the game saying, “We want to go to Lafia and get the victory, no doubt about that. I hope everything (will) be normal in the game, I hope we have that fairness in the game against Lobi Stars.

“We are here to play as if we are playing our home match and see what the result will look like. If we don’t give our best and we lose, I will be angry about that. We will do our best to make sure we get the maximum three points.

“I am quite optimistic that if we put in that energy like we did against Kano Pillars, I think we will have a chance.”

Enyimba and Lobi Stars occupy second and third positions on the table, respectively and both sides are three points behind league leaders Enugu Rangers who have gathered 51 points.
