NPFL: Niger Tornadoes Capable Of Winning League Title – Aliko

Niger Tornadoes captain, Mustapha Aliko, believed that his team is capable of winning the Niger Premier Football League (NPFL) title.

Aliko however said that the team need to adopt a more consistent and clinical approach to their games if they want to compete for the title.

Niger Tornadoes are eight points adrift of league leaders Rivers United.

The Ikon Allah Boys have registered five wins, six draws and four defeats in this campaign.

“We have shown that we can beat any team in the league but we need to work on our mental toughness and ability to close out games,” Aliko told SportBoom.

“We have a strong squad and a good team spirit.
