The Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) has rescheduled the matchday 16 fixture between Kwara United and Enyimba.

The Kwara United vs Enyimba NPFL clash was initially set for Wednesday, January 15. The match will now take place on Wednesday, February 5th, at the Kwara State Sports Complex in Ilorin.

The NPFL’s Chief Operating Officer, Davidson Owumi, communicated this adjustment in a statement sent to both clubs.

The Elephants of Aba are engaged in their CAF Confederation Cup campaign, preparing for a crucial match against Al Masry of Egypt on Sunday at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo.

Ahead of the continental engagement, Enyimba announced that their midfielder, Chidiebere Nnachi, has returned to training and is poised to contribute significantly to their CAF Confederation Cup game against Al Masry on Sunday evening.

The club expressed their enthusiasm on X, stating, “Chidiebere Nnachi is BACK in training and ready to take the pitch by storm!”

As Enyimba prepares to take on Al-Masry, they will strive to improve their position in the group. They are currently sitting at the bottom with four points from four matches, the same points as third-placed Black Bulls and one point below second-placed Al-Masry.
