Ondo Decides: PDP Candidate Ajayi Casts Vote, Accuses INEC Of Compromise

After battling with Bimodal Voters Accreditation System (BVAS) for a few minutes, the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) candidate in the ongoing governorship election in Ondo State, Hon. Agboola Ajayi, has eventual voted.

Arriving at his polling Unit 4, Idumado Quarters, Kiribo, Ese-Odo LGA of the State, Ajayi described the exercise as not being perfect.

LEADERSHIP reports that it took the INEC ad-hoc staff about 10 minutes to verify the PDP candidate following a struggle with BVAS machine.

Addressing journalists after casting his ballot, the PDP candidate said: “The system is not perfect. Things are not working. It took more than 10 minutes to capture me.

“INEC cannot organise a successful election in one state. You must know that we are running into anarchy.

“I think it’s deliberate on the part of INEC, the REC. We have said several times that we don’t trust Barrister Olatoyin Babalola and that this woman can’t be fair. The system is compromised.”
