Ondo Election, There Will Be No Magic, APC Will Shock Opposition – Oyintiloye

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun State, Olatunbosun Oyintiloye, has stated that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and other opposition parties would be shocked by the massive votes the party will receive in the forthcoming November 16 governorship election in Ondo State.

He stated this while addressing newsmen in Osogbo on Sunday.

Oyintiloye, who is a member of the APC national campaign stakeholders engagement committee for the election, boasted that the party was poised to record a landslide victory.

He said that the party’s candidate, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, is a man of vision who has achieved a lot through his people-oriented policies and programs.

He urged the electorate to come out en masse to give massive votes to the APC to shock the opposition parties as a confirmation of the quality leadership of the incumbent governor.

In his words, “There is no doubt the election is going to be free, fair, and peaceful, and the APC will win with a clear-cut margin.

“The electorate will never allow the state to go backward, and that is why they will come out peacefully to vote for the APC.

“There is no magic about it. The APC will win massively, and the opposition parties will be shocked.

“Our committee, under the leadership of His Excellency, Gov. Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State, will approach the task ahead with due diligence.”

Oyintiloye, however, appealed to the electorate to be peaceful and orderly before and after the election.

He said the election should not be seen as a do-or-die affair, adding that “all political gladiators in the election should abide by the rules of the game,” he added.
