Parallex Bank commits to promoting savings culture

Parallex Bank has reiterated its commitment to promoting a savings culture among Nigerians through various initiatives and products designed to encourage financial prudence.

This was disclosed by Preye Ojeme, Head of the Public Sector Department at the Parallex Bank Abuja office, during an interview with PUNCH.

Speaking on the bank’s ongoing efforts, Ojeme said, “The Save and Win promo is basically to reward our retail customers for saving with us and to encourage a savings culture in the country, basically.”

Ojeme explained that the bank is committed to helping customers thrive amid economic challenges by offering a variety of products designed to support both personal and business financial needs.

“So basically, we have a lot of products, a lot of retail products, personal products for our customers to help with their businesses. Our digital platform is robust. We give microloans and other loans to our retail customers and even the SMEs and corporate customers,” she said.

Ojeme noted that the bank’s diverse range of products is designed to offer financial support and advisory services to customers, helping them overcome challenges and grow their businesses.

Highlighting the bank’s long-term vision, Ojeme stated, “Basically, the bank’s mission is to be the preferred financial solution provider, redefining customer experiences through innovation. So that’s our mission, and we’re working every day to make that a reality.”

As part of its drive to foster a savings habit among its customers, Parallex Bank recently organised a raffle draw under its Save and Win promo. The event, held last Thursday, saw numerous customers rewarded for their commitment to saving.

The raffle draws produced multiple winners, with 50 customers winning N5,000 worth of airtime each, while another 50 customers walked away with N10,000 each. Additionally, 30 customers won N20,000 each, and three lucky winners took home N100,000 each. The grand prize of N1m was won by a single lucky customer.

The bank described the promo as a way to appreciate loyal customers and motivate them to maintain consistent savings, especially in the current economic climate.

Ojeme expressed optimism that the Save and Win initiative would encourage more Nigerians to adopt a savings culture while also enjoying the added benefit of potentially winning cash prizes.
