A new series entitled ‘Parents. Teachers. Antagonists. (PTA)’ has begun airing on Africa Magic.



Premiering on January 2, the series which explores the school system from the perspective of teachers and school management, tells the story of Kennedy, a schoolteacher, who hit rock-bottom post a failed engagement. Neck deep in debt and in shock from the loss of a friend, he desperately hijacks a Parents Teachers Association (PTA) meeting at the Ascending Scholars School, Abuja, resulting in a tense hostage situation that revealed shocking secrets, betrayals and connections that none saw coming.

Written by Brenda Garuba, Priye Diri, and Jonathan Nwadike, PTA is created by Mauwa Asani, with Sifa Asani Gowon as a co-creator.
