PICTORIAL: Gospel film actor, Baba Gbenro, laid to rest



Gospel film actor and beloved star of the Abattoir series, Moses Korede Are, popularly known as Baba Gbenro, has been laid to rest.

The ceremony, attended by well-wishers clad in white and blue, was captured in photos shared by a Christian video podcast on X, Zion Kulture, on Friday.

The images show mourners gathered around his final resting place.


Baba Gbenro, who was the founder and International President of Calvary Movies Drama Ministry, based in Ogbomoso, Nigeria, passed away in November 2024.

He was laid to rest at Ogbomosho, Oyo State.
