PICTORIAL: Voters Head To Polling Centres On US Election Day

As US election gets underway on Tuesday, voters arrive at local polling stations across the country to cast their ballots for the next president.

In New York City, residents made their voices heard at the Anna Silver Elementary School in Manhattan.

Georgia and Michigan also opened their doors to voters, joining the list of states eager to welcome participants in this critical democratic process. Long queues were formed in Pennsylvania, another key battleground state, as citizens lined up to make their choices.

Polls also opened in North Carolina, a pivotal swing state that could influence the election’s outcome.
