Popular Lagos-based Musician Is Dead

Mukaila Senwele, a Lagos-based musician of Ilorin origin, widely known for his signature phrase “Koni Da Fun Ebo To Se Costay,” has passed away.

The celebrated artist, who hailed from Ilorin West Local Government Area of Kwara State, died on Friday night, a family source confirmed to ROYAL NEWS.

Senwele was admired for his exceptional performances and unique style of entertainment, which earned him a devoted following among socialites.

According to the family, Mukaila showed no signs of illness prior to his death.

There was no indication of sickness. He spent the day with his fans and even promised to visit the family house (Ile Esinrogunjo) later in the evening,” a family member revealed.

Tragically, the family received an emergency call from the location where Senwele had been lodging with fans. Efforts to rush him to the hospital were unsuccessful.

Upon arrival, my elder brother and others attempted to rush him to the hospital, but we lost Mukaila to the cold hands of death,” the source added.

Mukaila Senwele will be buried on Saturday morning according to Islamic rites. His unexpected demise has left fans, friends, and family in mourning.
