Rodrigo Bentancur Is “All Good” After Horrific Injury in Tottenham’s Win Over Liverpool

Tottenham’s midfielder, Rodrigo Bentancur is currently receiving care in the hospital following an unfortunate injury during the team’s impressive 1-0 victory over Liverpool.

Rodrigo Bentancur sustained the injury while attempting to head the ball at a corner, landing awkwardly and causing his arm to bend in an unusual direction.

Medical staff promptly attended to him on the field, where he received treatment for approximately seven minutes before being carried off.

Tottenham later confirmed through their official X page that Rodrigo was conscious, communicating, and on his way to the hospital for further evaluation.

Following the incident, Spurs secured the win, with Lucas Bergvall netting his first goal for the club, and new goalkeeper Antonin Kinsky delivering a solid performance by keeping a clean sheet on his debut.

In an uplifting message posted on his Instagram story shortly after the match, Rodrigo Bentancur reassured fans by saying, “All good, guys. Thank you for the messages. Congratulations on the victory, boys.”

After the game, Tottenham manager Ange Postecoglou provided an update to Sky Sports, stating, “I don’t have all the information, but my understanding is that he is conscious and was aware when he arrived in the dressing room. We decided to take him to the hospital for further checks. It was a concerning moment, but hopefully, he will be alright.”
