SBI Media has announced that it has cemented its status as one of Nigeria’s largest independent media agencies, securing the third spot overall, according to the 2023 RECMA (Research Company Evaluating the Media Agency Industry) rankings.
The agency’s remarkable growth, even amid economic turbulence, underscores its resilience and innovative approach to media strategy.
The RECMA report revealed SBI Media’s impressive 146 per cent growth over three years, alongside a 10 per cent year-on-year increase. These achievements come amid Nigeria’s macroeconomic challenges, including inflation and currency volatility, which have posed significant hurdles for businesses across sectors.
The Chief Executive Officer of SBI Media, Rotimi Bankole, expressed pride in the milestone, which he attributed to the agency’s commitment to excellence and innovation.
In a statement, Bankole said, “We are deeply honoured by this recognition, which underscores the impact of our innovative approach to solving complex challenges for brands and businesses.
This milestone is a testament to the dedication and creativity of our team, the trust of our partners, and the strength of our proprietary model that focuses on delivering value through strategic solutions.”
Bankole attributed the achievement to the agency’s top-tier, baseline partners, and its global affiliates in Kenya, South Africa, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
He reaffirmed SBI Media’s vision of building Africa’s largest independent communication powerhouse, leveraging advancements in digital transformation, artificial intelligence, and cutting-edge media buying strategies.
“Our success is a collective effort,” Bankole added.
“We are committed to fostering innovation, pushing boundaries, and setting new standards for the media and communication industry.
“We will continue to invest in cutting-edge technologies and solutions to deliver unparalleled results for our partners, clients, and the communities we serve,” he added.
It added that the agency’s ability to navigate economic uncertainties while expanding its capabilities positions it as a trailblazer in redefining media excellence in Africa and beyond.
“As SBI Media charts its path forward, it remains steadfast in its mission to drive value for clients, partners, and communities, setting a high benchmark for the media industry in Nigeria and across the continent,” it added.
