SDTA Awards honours Doyle, appoints Saga, others as ambassadors



The Supreme Dynamic Talent Awards recently held its annual ceremony at the Lagos Continental Hotel, recognising outstanding achievements and dynamism among African and international creatives in the arts and entertainment industry.

This year’s event celebrated talents who have made significant contributions to the sector, while also acknowledging global individuals advancing their fields and championing important causes.

A key highlight of the evening was the appointment of Saga Adeoluwa, a former Big Brother Naija housemate, as the Nigerian brand ambassador, and Prince David Osei as the Ghanaian brand ambassador. Esteemed actress Ireti Doyle, also made history as the first woman to receive the 2024 Supreme Lifetime Achievement Award.

The ceremony honoured the late Ilerioluwa Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad, by introducing a new award category in his memory to preserve his legacy in the music industry.

Other notable recipients included Big Brother Naija alumnus, Pere Egbi, actress Tana Egbo-Adelana, and film director Emeka Okpara.

Speaking on the objectives of the award, the convener, Zino Ogazi, remarked, “Our goal is twofold: to celebrate the achievements of creatives and talents who have significantly enhanced the arts and entertainment industry; and to acknowledge individuals from diverse backgrounds worldwide who are advancing their fields while promoting causes such as humanity, good governance, and public diplomacy through their creative contributions.”
